Acquiring Services ValuCard Nigeria Plc is the joint acquirer of Visa card transactions at all merchant locations in Nigeria, be it at Point of Sale (PoS) or virtually over the Internet. By this function merchants in Nigeria now have the unique opportunity to offer their goods and services for sale to the global community of over 1.6 billion Visa cardholders, either through the Internet or at their physical outlets.

Processing Services

Our EMV and PCI-DSS certified platform has ensured that we securely and consistently provide the following processing services to financial institutions in and out of Nigeria.



Issuer Processing Services: We set up and process Visa Card programmes for Visa Member Banks, to enable such banks to issue Visa card products such as Visa Classic, Visa Gold, Visa Platinum, Visa Business and V PAY, to their individual and corporate customers for their retail payment needs.




Acquirer Processing Services: We process Visa card transactions at ATMs and at Points of Sale for our clients. Through this service, ATMs in Nigeria can now accept Visa cards.




Card Supply and Ancillary Services: We supply, personalize and print Personal Identification Numbers (PINs) for financial institutions, using our world-class infrastructure and in line with global best practices.

V-Money Transfer Service (VMT): This service enables Visa cardholders especially Nigerians in the Diaspora to remit money securely and conveniently via the internet to their friends and relations in Nigeria 24/7.

Recipients have instant access to the funds even outside banking hours; and without the need to display an Identity Card or the possibility of their identity being cloned by fraudsters.




Business-to-Business Payment solutions (B2B-PS): Our B2B payment solutions are designed to enable corporate organizations to pay for their retail purchases conveniently and securely and in the process control and manage their expenses effectively and efficiently.




Bill Payment, Distributorship, Retail and Collection Solutions: Designed to enable companies, government agencies, etc. to efficiently manage their receivables.




Financial Settlement Services: We provide financial settlement services to our Merchants in our capacity as acquirers of their Visa transactions and to Visa Card Issuing institutions in our capacity as Settlement Agent for Visa.
